Now What is a celebration of three years work, showcasing the diversity, energy and enthusiasm of the graduating University of Brighton Graphic Design and Illustration students.
Following on from their interim show, ‘Up to Now’, Now What provides a platform to convey an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation, the vibrancy of the students and the exciting possibilities for the future of visual communication.
They are designers, illustrators, image-makers, communicators as well as filmmakers, musicians, print makers, sculptors and model makers. As such, the show questions the boundaries of their disciplines and highlights the graduates’ interest in areas outside their subject.
To place the work in a wider context they have curated a publication containing interviews, points of discussion and short essays as well as examples of their projects.
Events will take place on each of the four days parallel to the show, including Discussions, performances and daytime workshops.
The private view promises bus shuttle services to Netil House, a free bar, The Now What Shop, roof terrace party with views across the capital and live music.
Saturday evening will see and exciting and unique evening of discussion and debate. We will be deliberating the future of the creative industries with key figures from the art and design world. We start at 7pm and hope to see you there!
